Wal-Mart joined the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City to honor Cristal Millan, a member of the club who beat out 18 other finalists from the Boys' and Girls' Clubs in New Jersey Youth of the Year competition to be named New Jersey Youth of the Year. Millan received a $20,000 scholarship from Wal-Mart in ceremonies held at the club in Atlantic City.
