Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - Thursday December 17, 2009: The North American headquarters building of ACE Group, the global insurer and reinsurer, at 436 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, is the first existing building in Philadelphia to be awarded LEED Silver status by the US Green Building Council. ACE engaged in extensive energy management retrofitting of the building to meet the LEED standards as part of its corporate environmental sustainability initiatives.
